Porcelain / Slip Casting

Stalagmite Drink-ware is a set of water vessels inspired by the natural forces that create stalagmites. These geological formations are drawn from the hidden landscape dissolved and regenerated by natural forces of water over millions of years. This collection is created by pouring and stacking multiple layers of plaster as a representation of natural phenomena. The mysterious, repetitive surface of the stalagmite is replicated in Stalagmite Drink-ware, bringing unexplored nature into everyday space.
